GrandView Pharmacy was founded as Elliot and Hood Drug Company in Connersville, In., and renamed GrandView Pharmacy in 1960, because of its proximity to the Grandview School District.In 1969, Howard Eldridge and the Eldridge family purchased the pharmacy and relocated it to 2424 Park Road where it conducted business until 1987.
GrandView Pharmacy grew rapidly during the 1980s necessitating a move to a larger facility in 1987. The pharmacy was moved to 2230 N. Park Road where an existing structure was remodeled. The pharmacy is located there still today.
Through the years, our single neighborhood pharmacy has grown to four east central Indiana retail locations: Connersville, Cambridge City, Hagerstown and Richmond. Combined, they offer many traditional pharmacy services and diverse retail products. We are constantly challenged with balancing the requirements of growth with the rewards of maintaining the warmth and intimacy of our neighborhood pharmacy roots.
Our long term care pharmacy also expanded in 2005 from an small office behind the retail pharmacy to a state-of-the-art facility in Brownsburg, and another in Fort Wayne in 2008.
Each long term care pharmacy facility, allows us to have strategic locations to conveniently and efficiently service Indiana and bordering states. GrandView strives to remain a leader in the pharmacy industry through progressive leadership, innovative technology, expansion philosophy and expert staffing. Again, never forgetting our neighborhood pharmacy roots and the expectation of great personal service that comes with it.
